Design Assist
Bring us in early. We help shape insulation and firestop scope so it's buildable, compliant, and cost-effective.
About Design Assist
Insulation and firestopping are usually figured out late, after the drawings are done and the pipe is already hung. That's when conflicts are most expensive to fix: penetrations without a listed system, pipes spaced too tight to insulate, specs that don't match the climate.
Design assist moves that conversation up front. We work with owners, engineers, and general contractors during design and preconstruction to catch those problems on paper, where they cost almost nothing to solve.

What We Handle
Specification review
Checking insulation materials, thicknesses, and jacketing against the climate, the system, and the budget.
Firestop system selection
Matching listed firestop systems to the wall and floor assemblies and penetrating items on the drawings.
Constructability input
Flagging spacing, clearance, and sequencing issues before they show up in the field.
Budgeting and value engineering
Realistic pricing early, plus alternatives that save money without giving up performance.

Does design assist commit us to anything?+
No. It's about getting the scope right. Many teams use our input to firm up budgets and specifications before bidding.
